In our research we found out that the best tone mapper for jewelry display is ACES Filmic. We added this tone mapper to WANNA rendering engine and we highly recommend using it instead of standard ACES Narkowicz tone mapper. We also created a special environment map optimized for metals and gems to accompany 3D production process.

Follow the instructions below to achieve best looking jewelry:

1. Download the latest version of WANNA Shader for Substance Painter.
2. Download Jewelry ACES Environment Map to use in Substance Painter and Gestaltor.
3. Set up Substance Painter according to Setting up Substance Painter for WANNA with the shader and environment map for Jewelry.
4. Choose ACES tone mapper in the shader.

5. Finish your 3D model and upload to WANNA Studio.
6. Go to Edit for this uploaded model and do the following:
   1. Open Lighting and change environment map to  Jewelry ACES;
   2. Scroll right to Tone Mapping and change it to ACES.
