This guide defines category-specific QA checks for WANNA Virtual Try-On (VTO) and the 3D Viewer. Use it to run consistent reviews across devices and to sign off content with confidence.
Test setup (all categories)
- Devices/OS: At least one recent flagship and one mid-range device popular with end users per platform (iOS/Android; desktop where applicable).
- Lighting & background (VTO): Typical indoor lighting and a high-contrast background (preferably light)
- Network: Wi-Fi and stable mobile connection.
- Reference (3D Viewer): Approved reference renders/photos for geometry and colour comparison; model dimension data; and on-body photos for positioning checks.
Virtual Try-On: General Checks
Regardless of product category, verify:
- Realistic fitting: No hovering, large gaps, or body/garment intersections; edges look clean.
- Geometry, textures & colours: Match the reference at normal zoom. Pay specific attention to logos, texts and some unique details (like gemstones, stitching, etc.).
- No holes/artifacts: No unintended see-throughs, flipped normals, or texture glitches.
Virtual Try-On: Specific Checks per Category
Footwear
- Fitting realism: Collar aligns to ankle/instep; no clipping at heel/sole. For high heels, the heel position should realistic for the side view.
- Left/Right mapping: Left shoe on the left foot, right shoe on the right foot in all views.
- No holes/artefacts: No inner-sole or interior faces showing unintentionally; vice versa if at some point the feet should be visible by design, it should be visible.
- Deformation realism (high boots): Shaft bends naturally; rigid parts (sole/heel/hardware) remain stable.
- Height/coverage (high boots): Visual height reads correctly in side/top views.
- Stability: Placement remains steady as the user moves.
The technology’s accuracy can vary by viewing angle. Based on user testing, WANNA has identified the key views that matter most to shoppers. Use the following recommended views when testing:
- High boots & high heels: side (primary), sole, rear, top (seated perspective)
- All other styles: bird’s-eye (top), sole, side, rear/heel

Bags
- Fitting realism: Natural placement on shoulder/crossbody.
- No holes/artifacts: Logos and hardware render cleanly.
Recommended views to test (based on user testing): front mirror, side mirror (especially for shoulder bags), selfie.
Scarves
- Approximate size & drape: Looks plausible for the intended tie; no extreme stretching; folds are soft
- No holes/artefacts: Edges and overlaps remain clean.
Recommended views to test (based on user testing): front mirror and selfie (phone in hand) across available tying options.
Watches & Bracelets
- Positioning: Sits naturally on the wrist; no floating or penetration.
- Dial size (when the Wrist Measurement Tool is enabled): When viewed straight-on, the clockface size looks correct relative to the wrist.
- No holes/artefacts: Clean joins at lugs/buckle; no shading glitches.
- Animation (if enabled): The watch displays the current time.
Recommended views to test (based on user testing): close dial view, several far views from different angles, buckle/fastener view, and both wrists.
3D Viewer: General Checks
- Visual parity: Colours, textures and geometry match the approved reference. Pay particular attention to logos, text, unique elements and gemstones.
- Scale: Model is true-to-size; any stated dimensions align with expectations.
- Shading & form: Folds, highlights and shadows look realistic.
- POIs: Starting view and Points of Interest are configured as expected and focus on the correct details.
- Action animation (if enabled): Plays as specified, starts from the correct camera, and auxiliary elements show only where expected
3D Viewer: Specific Checks per Category
Bags
- Dimensions indicators (if enabled): correct values and formatting; toggle behaves as expected.
- X-Ray Bag View (if enabled): Show/Hide Capacity works; main bag becomes semi-transparent; representative items appear correctly scaled and placed.
