Later, you can switch between available workspaces at any time, as demonstrated in the image below.

Familiarize yourself with the workspace interface and available tools.

Step 4: Preparing for Model Upload

Before uploading, ensure your model is prepared according to the recommendations outlined in the General 3D Model Requirements.

What to adjust before uploading

By default, models will be uploaded using standard settings, which work well for most cases. However, you may want to adjust the following settings before uploading:

General Settings

General Settings include the following options, which are set to default but can be adjusted globally for all uploaded models.

  • Environment Map – Select a default lighting and reflection setup.
  • Animation – Enable or disable model animation.
  • Tone Mapping – Choose a tone mapping option for color adjustments.
  • Watch Positioning – If uploading watches, you can modify their wrist position before uploading if the default placement isn’t ideal.

These settings will apply only to models uploaded after the changes are made, by the user who made the changes, and only in their workspace. Other users uploading models will not be affected.

To apply the above settings to an already uploaded model, go to the settings of the model you need and change what you require.

Upload Settings

   Available settings

Enable positioning.

Turn this setting off to skip automatic positioning. Use it if the 3D model has already been positioned for try on.

Enabled by default Additional permission is required to control (turn off) this setting Ask your manager to provide access to this setting Footwear/Watches

Enable Inner stub generation.

Turn this setting on to upload the following categories: loafers, moccasins, slip-ons, ballerinas, sandals and slides.

Disabled by default Additional permission is required to control (turn on) this setting Ask your manager to provide access to this setting Footwear

Enable high boots processing

Turn this setting on if you are uploading high boots. If the model is made without bones, the positioning of high boots will be ignored

Enabled by default Additional permission is required to control (turn off) this setting Ask your manager to provide access to this setting Footwear

We recommend keeping the default upload settings. For individual cases that require adjustments, use the Custom Upload button.

These settings will apply only to models uploaded after the changes are made, by the user who made the changes, and only in their workspace. Other users uploading models will not be affected.

Step 5: Uploading model

  1.  Select and Upload Files

Click Upload, then either browse to the .zip archives on your computer or drag and drop the archives directly into the WANNA Studio window.

  1. Automatic Validation

After upload, models are automatically processed in the Upload Center:
   •    Auto-validation ensures compliance with GLTF standards.
   •    Model IDs are generated from filenames.
   •    Left and right shoes are auto-identified if filenames follow GLTF conventions; otherwise, manual selection is required.
   •    Clothing, scarves, and bags require gender selection for accurate try-on.

Monitoring Progress
   •    Track upload status in the Upload Center.
   •    Add more models anytime without waiting for current uploads to finish.
   •    After a successful upload, the model will automatically appear in the Draft tab.

Step 6: Reviewing Models

You can try on or view any model uploaded to WANNA Studio. Depending on your workspace settings, these options may be available in the app or through a web browser on your smartphone. If both options are supported, a toggle will appear in the Models Review panel to switch between them.

WANNA Studio app (iOS)

Install the WANNA Studio iOS app: https://apps.apple.com/lt/app/wanna-studio/id1553897502

Tip: To make sure that the visual quality of the model is good and the model is fitting correctly, we recommend to review the model on at least 2 different devices. For iOS, use an iPhone 12 or newer, as well as an older iPhone.

To review a model on mobile

  1. Select one or several models from the list.
  1. Make sure that the iOS app option is selected on the Models Review panel.
  2. Select Generate QR Code.
  1. Launch WANNA Studio mobile app and scan the QR code. The app will download the models to be reviewed.
  1. Select a model from the available list and start review.
  2. Point the camera at your feet and see how the model looks during try-on.
  3. Switch between available models to review them all.

Tip: If you're working with watch models as well, review them in WANNA Studio iOS app, in exactly the same way as sneakers.

Browser (iOS/Android)

  1. Select one or several models from the list.
  1. Select the Mobile browser option on the Models Review panel.
  2. Select Generate QR Code.
  3. Scan the generated QR code with your smartphone camera and follow the link. The web app will download the list of models to be reviewed.
  4. Point the camera at your feet and see how the model looks during try-on.
  5. Small previews at the bottom of the screen show all available models. Switch between models to review them all.
  1. Tap the preview circle to save the current try-on image.

Tip: If you're working with bag models as well, review them in mobile browser, in exactly the same way as sneakers but 3D Viewer will be opened.

WANNA 3D Viewer

This feature allows users to review the 3D model directly in the browser.

A 3D Viewer will open in the same window after the user takes an action.

Key features:

Open dimensions (switch between cm/inches).

Zoom in/out and rotate the model.

Switch between POIs (Points of Interest).

3d viewer can also be opened in edit mode.

Step 7: Model Statuses

  • In WANNA Studio, models go through several statuses as part of their lifecycle. Here’s an overview of each status and how models transition between them:
        1.    Draft
All newly uploaded models are initially set to the Draft status. While in this status, models can be edited and adjusted freely.
        2.    Pending
Models move to the Pending status under two scenarios:
  • When you select a model in the Draft status and click Approve for Publishing.
  • When you select a model in the Published status and click Mark for Unpublishing.

3.    Published
Models transition to the Published status when:

  • A model in the Pending tab with the Ready for Publishing status is approved by clicking Propagate Changes.
Once published, models become available for use in the SDK and the Fitting Room.

By managing these statuses, you can control the workflow of your models, ensuring they are ready for use and properly maintained.

Step 8: Handling Errors

If there’s an issue during upload, WANNA Studio will display one of the following messages:

  • Upload Error
  • Action Required
  • Other Errors

Click Details to review the error and determine the necessary next steps.

  • To avoid errors, ensure that your uploaded files comply with the GLTF standard.
  • If the issue is related to the model contents, refer to the Studio Errors Guide  for troubleshooting. After resolving the issue, re-upload the corrected .zip archive.
